Thanks to all our knitters, the Easter chicks, each stuffed with a Cadbury's creme egg, will go on sale after school Monday 30th March at 3.30pm on the infant yard. Going cheep at £1.50 each, they make an eggcellent Easter tweet!

Bags for Life

Dec 2014

Bags for Life - Our children have drawn pictures of themselves that have been reproduced on a bag for life. We have a bag with the infant class children and a bag for the junior class children. The bag for life is available to purchase now (1 bag-£4.50, 2-£8, 3-£11.50, 4-£15.00), an example can be seen at the school reception. Don’t delay as there’s only 150 Infant and 150 Junior 

TESCO, Flora, Stork - Tubs 4 Tablets

Please collect Tubs4Tablets tokens inside special 500g tubs of Flora Original, Light and Buttery and Stork 500g – available from Tesco stores

Hand the tokens into school by the 20th January for a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0” Wi-Fi 8GB for every 50 tokens collected

 

So please start collecting now and ask friends and family to help.

School Painting

A huge thank you to the Parents, Grandparents, family and friends, Staff and Governors who gave up their time over the weekend to paint the school infant and junior hallways. the school looks so much brighter and cleaner with these newly painted walls which has been commented on by pupils and visitors.

Our aim is to keep you updated with all the latest PTA information and to give you a quick and convenient way to contact us. Whether to just ask a question, provide feedback or volunteer.

School fundraising / collections

January 2014

Turn Pounds to Pages – 2nd Hand Book Sale

On Friday 7 February there will be a 2nd hand book sale to raise money for our library fundraiser.  Pupils will be able to buy books from 2.30 pm and parents and friends of the school from 3.30 pm – 4.00 pm.  All books will cost 50p.  Please send any unwanted books to school, this time we are keen to encourage both pupils and parents to pick up a bargain so donations of all types of books welcome.

 

Collection Plastic Milk Bottle Tops

We collecting plastic milk bottle tops this month which a member of staff will deliver to Royal Marsden Hospital, London. They will be traded to raise money for NHS equipment. There will be a box in the junior corridor for the milk bottle tops to be deposited.

PTA joins EASYFUNDRAISING.ORG.UK

As a registered charity we have also joined a website called www.easyfundraising.org.uk. This is one way in which we can support St. Mary's at no extra cost to ourselves when we shop online. They provide a FREE service where you can shop with your favourite online stores and raise funds for St. Mary’s. You simply follow their websites simple instructions and use the links from their site to shop at your normal retailer and if applicable each purchase you make will generate a cashback donation. You can shop with over 2000+ Brand Name retailers. 

BAGS 2 SCHOOL

January 2014

Bags 2 School generate funds for unwanted clothes, fabrics, shoes and soft toys collected by the school and weighed in. 

 

October 2013's collection generated £235. thank you to everyone who donated.
